Our fully qualified RICS Chartered Surveyors undertake visual inspections to identify the use of RAAC (Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete) within the structural elements of commercial buildings. 

We provide detailed condition reporting, information about safety planning requirements and advice about remedial works that may be necessary (inclusive of budget cost estimates). Future monitoring and RAAC management recommendations are included in our reports, in line with industry guidance. Our advice is tailored to take into consideration the planned use of the building, to establish potential risk levels.

During our site inspections, we thoroughly assess the condition of the building’s external envelope to establish whether any works are required to ensure RAAC panels are adequately protected from the elements.  Where physical access of roof areas is not possible, we complete inspections using a drone equipped with a high-definition camera.
